A thought or two on toys and games

Whist on a recent business trip to the US, I decidied to visit one of those trade fairs aimed at allowing companies to promote their new products.  It was an amzing event with all sorts of games, gadgets and toys in some some cases using cutting edge technology.  The final part of my trip took to me a quaint town on the west coast of Florida and whilst walking through some malls, I stumbled across what I can only describe as an old-fashioed toy-shop.  Brightly painted toys, wooden, metal and plastic, all boxed and just waiting to be bought.  I was amazed at the number of children in the shop who were looking on in wonderment - hardly any "tech" or remote items.  On my way back I started to think about some of the toys and games I had played with as a child. Toys then were considered exciting and state of the art but in comparison to what we have available today, they could be considered very dull.

I started to go through some the toys I can recall and have put some up here for comment or any additional toys that come to mind.
